Audit TV: Has the Business Press Failed the Public Trust? : CJR

Audit Boss Dean Starkman?s cover story in the last issue of CJR argued that business journalism had narrowed its gaze at the expense of the public interest.

Last week, CJR and Public Business hosted a discussion on that topic.

It?s quite the panel: New York Times business editor Larry Ingrassia, Wall Street Journal reporter Suzanne Kapner, and American Banker reporter Jeff Horwitz, along with Dean and Audit contributing editor Felix Salmon, who writes for Reuters. Public Business executive director Maha Rafi Atal moderates.
